Another ball. I remember the one from last year, it set things in motion between the two of us. At least this year my biggest concern is whether or not he'll even be there, and if I can get Angela to send over some money for a dress.

Oh, and did everyone get their presents?

[ooc: If you consider yourself a semi-friend of Claire, or you are Nico or Giovanni, you got a small present. Since I'm posting this up so late, feel free to make up whatever it is they recieved. It wouldn't be anything too big or expensive, just something small and meaningful. Or in Giovanni's case, gun polish because he is selfish and won't share his guns to play tag :| ]

[Sylar is posting from... Claire's apartment. He broke in. Although is it really breaking and entering if you were vaguely invited? He just stares into the camera and addresses everyone, nothing unusual going on here]

So, I guess this Christmas in Desai wasn't so bad after all. An improvement on last year, I'd say. Especially considering what some of my last minute shopping yielded.

[He bends down to pick something up off the floor and it turns out... to be a dog. It's a Pomeranian, and it looks pretty much just like Mr. Muggles. Sylar makes it wave with one of its little paws, because he's extremely gay like that.]

I was going to give him to Claire, I guess, but I kind of want to keep him for myself. What do you think?

[The Mr. Muggles clone starts.. lovingly licking his face. He chuckles. The video cuts off before it can become any gayer.]
Merry Christmas to those who celebrate. All things considered, it's been a quiet one. Having family around has been nice, and after the excitement of the last several days I suppose it's been nice to be able to relax at home with only the general at-home issues to take care of.

I should probably head home for New Years, I think. I haven't made up my mind yet.

[For the life of Clare, she doesn't understand this thing. She's standing there, in the frigid weather, holding this ugly sweater. Wait, people actually... wear these things? And more importantly... Licorice? What? It smells weird and unfortunately, candy doesn't really exist where Clare comes from.]

... I don't think... I have ever been presented a gift. Thank you, I suppose. What is this thing. It's awfully outlandish, isn't it.

[And back to the licorice. It's sad these small things have sufficiently confused her.]

This smells so strange. What is this?

I didn't need that job anyways.

At least the money Angela sent over will cover the first couple of months at the apartment. I think there's even enough to buy a few Christmas presents for people.

So still. There's not a single trace of them last night, and the trees- They said it was for "Christmas" and "Yule", but that whole discussion really didn't explain the reasoning behind the candles. But the winds grow colder, so winter has arrived here. A celebration for winter coming in?

This is a first. Rabona definitely doesn't have anything like that.

But the trees... ah, maybe they really did look "pretty". That feels odd to say.

Oh, really now. Getting so embarrassed over a quick little kiss! Some of you are being quite ridiculous! Don't you have family members that you kiss from time to time? In the old days it was common to greet people that way, you know!

Lau, I had such a lovely time, thank you! I'll be sure to come by and visit again soon, dear~

Dinner first would be more adequate next time, comrade Yosuke, but spasiba for ice. Your friend is fool. I do not know how it is done in Japan or America, but they are both of crass nature so it would be wise to be more reserved.

Sheska, you do well in days following such incidents?

((ooc; ...it's a long story... She also spent her entire time attached to Sheska being creepy on purpose.))

I'm unsure what to think at this point. I've been watching, experiencing trying to escape, but these hold tight once in proximity. Is there rhyme or reason? There seems to be no logistical pattern. Desai has been silent. This is ridiculous.

I can't do anything like this!

((ooc; forgive mun failure of reading. :( go go fever.))

This is less than satisfying. As though not enough has been wrought.

Is there explanation for such things?
